Cargo & Logistics International enjoys good access to all the main liner services plying the major trade routes to and from New Zealand.
Part of our job is to add value at as many corners as we can. With FCL shipments this may mean discussing initiatives to stagger arrival patterns through speading multiple-container bookings across different lines / routes. This can have the outcome of offsetting onshore costs while optimising the balance between transit time and freight cost.
We move considerable volumes of LCL seafright both into and out of New Zealand, across almost every tradelane. We are able to ship between third and fourth party ports outside of New Zealand, on behalf of our local and overseas clients.
AIRFREIGHT
Airfreight is often the answer. It can be as simple as a desperately urgent order; retail stock for the limited new retail season; tractor and farm spares for the annual rural harvest season; ship's urgent spares; samples; or the most appropriate means to bring high-value low shelf-life stock to market. We handle it all.
We are well resourced and well experienced in the handling of a very broad variety of import and export airfreight. From our electronically-linked central locations we process air cargo through all of New Zealand's major airport gateways.
We use virtually all of the major airlines, and match clients' specific needs to the plethora of airline routes and transit-times available.
CUSTOMS & BORDER CLEARANCE

Import and export border clearance procedures and regulations are fluid by nature, so it's important that clients are kept updated on specific areas of Customs, MPI, & Food Safety relevant to them and their products.
Our in-house Customs operation handles all types of import border clearances and provides advice on HS codes / tariff classifications, Customs import duties, excise duties, FTA 's, and available duty concessions.
Export border clearance involves not only the usual Customs formalities, but we are watchful for the less usual such as duty drawbacks and regulatory filters (defence, antiquities, wine eligibility etc). We clear everything from Chamber of Commerce carnets to bulk carrier ships loading across multiple ports anything from cement to bulk tallow.
